Who is eligible to receive Vouchers?

All Western Nevada County residents AGE 60 YEARS OR OLDER are eligible.

A simple questionnaire must be filled out and can be done quickly over the phone:

How do I use a Voucher?

Vouchers may be used for the regular transportation programs provided by
Telecare excluding Charters.

Vouchers can be used for 100% of your fare or combined with cash.

Just give your driver one voucher for each $1 in fare (2 vouchers = $2, etc.)
or mix and match with cash & vouchers.

How do I acquire Vouchers?

Each Voucher book contains twenty (20) $1.00 vouchers with a total
fare value of $20.

We request a suggested donation of $2.00 per book.

Donations of more than $2.00 will be gratefully accepted.

Once your questionnaire has been processed you can obtain Voucher books by mail
or by visiting the Telecare office.

When am I able to acquire more Vouchers?

You can acquire one book at a time and cannot receive another
book until ten (10) vouchers have been redeemed.
