Sunday Ride Services

What is the Sunday Ride Service?

The Program is a subsidy program funded by the Area 4 Agency on Aging to provide seniors
(60 and over) in Western Nevada County with transportation on Sundays.

Rides are available to all Sunday activities within our local Nevada County service area.

Destinations can include church, special events, social activities, shopping, restaurants
and much more.

Seats are limited so please call as far ahead as possible (up to 14 days in advance).

Who is eligible for the Sunday Ride Services?

All Western Nevada County residents AGE 60 YEARS OR OLDER are eligible.

How much does it cost?

There is a suggested donation of $2.00 for each one-way trip.

Exact change is required.

When and Where can I get a ride?

Rides are available from 8:30am to 4:30pm

To make your reservation, call Telecare at (530) 272-1720 at least 24 hours in advance and
up to 14 days in advance.

Rides are limited so please call as far in advance as possible to help assure your ride.

CANCELLATIONS

Please call as soon as possible to cancel your ride so that someone else can be scheduled.
